Suki-tte Ii na yo 04

As you’ve probably noticed, there is now a simulcast available for Sukinayo. We’re a bit bummed out about the situation: our modus operandi is delivering releases based on original translations of anime that are not getting simulcasted, and we’ve been happy with seemingly having found a show that allowed us to do so this season.

Doing original translations for shows being simulcasted is hardly economical, though. After some deliberation and checking out the CR script, we’ve decided to use the simulcast script as our base script for now. We expect that this will reduce our turnaround time to a degree (being late as usual this weekend had other reasons, though).

The CR translation is not exactly accurate, so there’s more than enough work for us on this end. We will be checking and editing the script, adding some nice typesetting and our karaoke to the release, and muxing everything with fresh encodes.

It’s up to you whether you think the wait will be worth it; we hope it will be. Hopefully, this will at least free up some time for our other projects.

  1. As long as they are under AraAra tag, I am getting them! Thanks for the release ❤

  2. Tnx guys

  3. I think using the CR script as a base is a smart idea, To be honest if you’re checking through the script and touching it up where it fails, I don’t think anyone has the right to complain, especially if it’ll cause your epeisodes to come out faster! XD Thanks for the release as always!

  4. AWESOME!

Thanks so much for the episode! Have a great night!

  5. I am perfectly okay with waiting on these subs.

  6. Thanks! I’ll be waiting!

  7. I don’t care about the wait for your translation, I’m happy to wait for quality.

  8. What Alex says^^ Although did you guys a good job on the karaoke, love it ❤ Keep up the good work and see you next week o/

  9. I’ll wait for your releases.

  10. It’s unfortunate that your plan didn’t work out – but then that can happen with any show you’re working on. I’d say, if you’re having fun doing the translations, just continue as you had without the simulcast – screw efficiency. It’s no use getting bored over rewriting other people’s scripts. But that’s just me babbling, so do whatever keeps you motivated 🙂

I’ve actually only started watching this as I liked your work on E7 AO – so thanks for introducing me to something else.

  11. As long as you are editing the script to your usual standfards, any wait for yout encode of this show is more than worth it.
