Nothing much to say about “La Vie en Rose”, one of Γdith Piaf’s chansons for the ages. If you’re interested in modern cultural history, the song’s impact back in the 1940s and 1950s as well as its subsequent reception through the following decades are very insightful. Or you could just go ahead and enjoy it for what it is =)
Not to offend the cultural sensibilities of native speakers of the English language, I will refrain from literally translating the title and put it as “A Colorful Life” instead; generic color symbolism is obviously too hard, and I don’t want to overexert anyone.

That was just a bit of a joke, some fansubbers discussed a few months whether or not “rosy” and “rose-colored” are understandable enough for English native speakers. I found the discussion to be hilarious.

We’e got a longish list and we’re going to scratch names off that list when a) a good CR team does the show, b) the show’s being oversubbed, c) a better fansub group (they exist!) covers the show, d) the show doesn’t fit into our schedules, e) the show’s way out of our league (still no dedicated typesetter…), f) we don’t get decent raws (shouldn’t happen though since ^Yuyu is da bomb) or g) the shows sucks after all. We’ll be left with one show at the end of that process, ideally.
Kyousogiga 2 is on that list, though they announced that it will be a five episode ONA at Chara Hobby just a few days ago… and yeah, the next episode airs this Friday already =O.
So yeah, bottom line: We’re interested, but no promises. If EveTaku does the new ONA episodes like they did the first one, there’ll be no reason for us to do it, though. I’ll just lean back and enjoy watching the episodes myself in that case =3
